Fall in Love

Fall is my absolute favorite season!! I love the weather, I love not having to wear a swimsuit, I like football, I love Halloween, my birthday is in the Fall, I could go on and on......

We had Pinterest Pumpkin Painting Party, say that five times fast!! 

I also made apple cider spiked with Goldschlager

How was your weekend?!

It's the Emmy's for pete's sake!

The only reason I tune into any awards show is for the fashion........I'm sure that's true for most of you.

The Bad.....

Heidi Klum looks like a serpant and Julianne Hough forgot pants and the need to pull her straps up

Carrie Underwood and January Jones went for a dress that I'm pretty sure you could buy at David's Bridal

I don't if Anna Faris has hit the plastic surgery to hard or what but gross and Vera Farmiga looks scarier than she does as Norma Bates on Bates Motel my favorite show

 

No one thought Paula Abdul would show up normal so she took that and ran with it and Aubrey Plaza is so funny and so pretty and really and up and coming star and she dressed as if Warren Jeffs was her date!

Running Errands is not a Date

In honor of Nikki from The Pink Growl going on a big date tonight I decided to reflect back on my dating adventures and misadventures and offer up some advice well really just opinions but ya know tomatoes tomahtoes

• Make sure he knows it's not a date if he just picks you up to run errands with him....I was once hanging out with a guy and that's all we ever did he also played Halo til wee hours in the morning
• One must be extremely confident with themselves and the person they are on a date with to go eat, I know it's so stupid but I hate going to dinner with a guy I hardly know it's probably because when I eat I chow down and ain't nobody coming back for seconds when they see that!
• Don't make out with a guy who drives a vehicle with neon underglow...he won't turn into Paul Walker

Embarrassing your kids

I'm not a parent. Well I'm not a parent to a human child, I have a little fur baby and I'll admit my parenting skills with him are questionable at best.

So I'm not here to tell anyone how to raise their kids.

Well maybe I am a little.

It's just that I am about sick of seeing all these posts on social media sites about some mom or dad dealt with bad behavior.

It all started with the dude that shot his daughter's laptop, that was seriously the dumbest thing I have ever seen if he was the one that purchased the laptop.

Now this dad is wearing short shorts to punish his daughter...

And this mom made her daughter do this....

That mom is lookin like a hot mess 

I get it, kids need to be taught lessons. I needed to be taught lessons heck I still do. My parent's punished me the old fashioned way, I got grounded. They didn't intentionally humiliate me. Did my parent's ever embarrass me? Why yes! But that was usually for breathing the wrong way...

Are these parent's doing this to teach their children a lesson or gain attention to themselves? I just sometimes think some grown-ups are given too much credit. Are we all perfect? No. Will I be the perfect mom? Sheesh no!

But let's no make it okay to humiliate our kids especially if it's for our own sick self-gain. I will always believe that one should be a parent before they are a friend and the best thing a mom or dad can do is lead by example. My parents did and I had no excuse to screw up.

I've been feeling sickly the last couple of days, weak-like, I probably just need to eat something.....

Right.

I send my mom a text that says, "I feel sick" and she calls me right away, I'm unable to answer so she texts back saying, "What is wrong call me go to dr!!". So much for punctuation. 

I decided to do the most necessary and logical thing....Google my symptoms. After about three minutes I came to the conclusion that I have GERD.

So I sent my mom a text that said, "I have GERD", she replies back with the grammer of a 13 year old, "R u at dr office" I said, No. Google. She's yet to reply.

My mother has a medical background but her focus is psychology and whenever I tell her that I have whatever mental illness I think I have on any given day she just shakes her head and tells me how funny I am......

More Like 50 Shades of Hate!

Yes I know I have been a really really bad blogger lately........

No excuses, just school, work, life, etc.


There has been a lot of turmoil surrounding the "50 Shades of Grey" movie casting...Personally I'm not real worried about it because..

A. I haven't read the book
B. I rarely read due to homework and it's faster to watch it on screen
C. I've never been one to obsess over a book series since GossipGirl when I was 14 and attempted to decorate my bathroom as I thought Blair Waldorf would, I'd definitely say this was accomplished since my bath set was from Target and not Wal Mart.
D. I'm always late to the new trends

By the time I got an interest in "50 Shades of Grey" there was too much controversy for me to open this book out in public, plus I refuse to buy books full price and everyone that works at McKay's is so damn judgemental about what you're reading.

N-E-ways back to casting......

You women need to shut the F up! Charlie Hunnam?!?! He's hot like I mean way up there hot, like he's becoming another Matthew for me...Yes I said it.

I'm so appalled.....

 He's gonna destroy a crap piece of literature!! Oh gawd!!!

We all know I'll go see this movie, just like I saw Twilight and Hunger Games and I was always excited for the sequels....Also I just now realized Dakota Johnson is Melanie Griffith's daughter...hmm

Now if this was our Anastasia Steel than I would understand your complaining.....
